Farmville Standout Signs with Mustangs

Head Men's Basketball Coach Allan Harris continues to strengthen the Mustangs' lineup by signing Emmanuel "E" Rambert, a 5-10 guard from Farmville Central High School (NC). Rambert comes from a Jaguars program fresh from winning the 2016 NCHSAA 2A state title under Coach Larry Williford.

It was more than just basketball that appealed to Rambert about MACU. "When I visited MACU I felt welcomed, and I loved the environment," Rambert said of his campus visit. "I've attended church all my life, so I was more than comfortable with what the school stands upon and what it could offer me. Honestly, to me it was an easy choice. When I worked out with the team, I liked the chemistry and knew that I could help build something great with them and Coach Harris."

"His speed, ball handling and quickness stood out to me," Harris told the Farmville Enterprise. "His floor leadership is going to be a plus for our program because he is able to see the floor well, distribute and actually score the ball. His ability to penetrate and make defenses off-balance will be a great asset to our program as well."

Rambert will major in Education.
