The MACU Men's Soccer team has announced their schedule for the 2019 season. Leading the way in his fourth season as the Head Coach of the soccer team, Coach Gomez has put together an ambitious schedule for the team with a full slate of games that will see the team travel from Florida all the way up to Pennsylvania.
The team kicks off the season with a USCAA match-up at Penn State Mont Alto on August 31. The team begins it's defense of their home field on September 4th as they play host to Paul D. Camp College from Suffolk, VA. Quick trips to NCAA Division III opponents Emory & Henry and Randolph College accompany a run of games that will see the Mustangs host 5 out of 6 games at the MACU Soccer field along the beautiful riverfront of the Pasquotank River. The home stand will feature games with Ferrum, Patrick Henry, Emory & Henry, The Crown College and finally a game with fellow EMAC member Warren Wilson.
The final month of the season has the team heading out on the road for a first ever match-up with Toccoa Falls College in Georgia followed by a trip to the sunshine state with games at Trinity College of Florida and Johnson University (FL). The season wraps up with a two game home stand starting with a longtime USCAA rival in Central Penn visiting MACU on October 21st followed by the final game of the season on October 28th as the Mustangs take on the Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton College(VA).
