Lady Mustangs Cruise to Home Win

The Lady Mustangs of Mid-Atlantic Christian University returned to the friendly confines of Chesson Gym for their most impressive win of the season, 94-31 over Appalachian Bible College.  A suffocating defense that saw the Mustangs give up just 4 points in the first quarter led to 20 steals leading to a season high in assists with 23.

The win moved MACU to 6-12 on the season and was the 2nd win in their past three games at home. Freshman Cierra Cook led the Mustangs with 29 points while Sophomore KaNesha Murray grabbed a career high 16 rebounds.  Talethia Alexander added 11 points and 9 rebounds for the Mustangs.

The MACU Lady Mustangs return to action Tuesday January 30 at 6 pm in Chesson Gym as they take on the Shock of Washington Adventist.  For more information go to www.gomacumustangs.com
