Alexander, Lemons named as USCAA All American Honorable Mention

The USCAA has officially announced the All American teams for the 2018-19 season, and among those honored as Honorable Mention All-Americans were Women's Basketball players Talethia Alexander and Amanda Lemons.

Talethia, better known to fans of the Lady Mustangs as "Bookie", is a 5'2 senior guard and the lone Captain for the team and is from Kannapolis, NC where she attended A.L. Brown High School.  For the season she averaged 11.2 points per game to go along with 3.8 rebounds per game, additionally she finished the season shooting 80% from the freethrow line.  Bookie completed her career with the Lady Mustangs as the programs all time leading scorer having scored 942 points and connecting on 276 three pointers over the course of her career.

Amanda, is a 5'6 sophomore point guard and a 2017 graduate of Gar-field High School in Woodbridge, VA.  Lemons started every game for the Lady Mustangs at the point guard position with per game averages of 10.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.  Amanda set a career high in points scored in a game with 23 points in a win at Appalachian Bible College only to best her career high one game later with 31 at Apprentice School which also stands as the most points scored in a single game in team history.
