"This was a first for our program and I believe a rarity in general to sign three outstanding student-athletes all from one high school team in the same year. During the recruiting process I had the privilege to see all three of them play in person, including winning a hard fought first round state tournament game and I was impressed with what each of them contributes to their team. Through their high school experience they have seen firsthand the hardwork and dedication that is required to be successful and achieved some incredible results under Coach Hernandez. All the while they have excelled in the classroom and beyond, and these are the type of young ladies we want to recruit to be here, and we were fortunate to find them all at Veritas. I believe that they will make an immediate impact for our team and we are looking forward to getting them on the court for the Lady Mustangs." - Coach Troxell
