The Lady Mustangs Volleyball program has signed Lea Chapman for the 2014-15 season.
Chapman from The Carmel School in Ruther Glen, VA comes to MACU with a wealth of experience having played varsity volleyball for all four years of High School while playing as both a setter and defensive specialist. Lea has the distinction of being the first student-athlete from The Carmel School to sign to play collegiate athletics and was also the recipient of the Wildcat Award given to a Varisty athlete participating in 3 sports while maintaining a 3.0 or better GPA.
"The MACU Mustangs family is so excited to welcome Lea! She is exactly the kind of outstanding student-athlete we seek to add to our program, bringing great leadership abilities and experience to our young program. As the first ever student-athlete from The Carmel School to sign a letter of intent to play college sports we are excited to have been the University chosen for this awesome distinction, as well as the partnership this begins between two wonderful organizations in Mid-Atlantic Christian University and The Carmel School." - AD Neal Alligood
