Volleyball coach Kellie Kessler has tapped into a state championship program to sign a new Mustang for this fall. Mallary Brogden was one of the senior leaders in guiding South Granville (Creedmoor) to a 30-3 record and the 2015 NCHSAA 2A title, defeating First Flight (Kill Devil Hills). Mallary played right side and outside hitter for the Vikings under Coach Christy Fitzgerald.
Mallary attends Tally Ho First Baptist Church in Stem, NC where she is a leader in the youth group and plans several activities. She also participates in the church's theater productions and AWANA program, as well as Relay for Life.
Brogden plans on majoring in Elementary Education and is expected to make an immediate impact on the Mustang volleyball program.
