Mustangs win third straight, hitting stride

The Mustang volleyball team scored its third straight match win on Friday, dominating Central Penn 25-4, 25-4, 25-9 at Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, PA.

First-year coach Kellie Kessler commented that, in spite of the lopsided score, MACU did not play its best game, but the improvement is showing. "Coming together was the beginning. Working together has been a challenge, but seeing them coming together as a team has been the true reward. I feel blessed to be part of the process."

The roster is more than half freshmen with only one senior, Sarah Bowles.

The Lady Mustangs (3-6) head south this weekend in search of victories at Trinity Baptist, Trinity College and Johnson University Florida.  The match with the TBC Eagles will be aired via their FREE LIVESTREAM LINK at 7 PM on Friday (does require setting up a free account to watch).
