Box Score For the final time in the 2017-18 season the Mustangs took to the court in Chesson Gym and backed by another strong performance from Senior Dixon Ogwo in his final home game, Mid-Atlantic Christian University came away with a 90-72 victory over Blue Lights College.
The Mustangs were able to start the game quickly going inside, before sophomore Leander Williams came off the bench and sent the crowd to its feet with three triples within a five minute span of the first half to break the game open. Blue Lights would close the first half with a quick run of their own to cut the lead to just 9 at the half. A strong defensive effort to start the second half would lead the Mustangs to several easy baskets in transition as the lead would swell to thirty and never be threatened again.
Ogwo led four Mustangs in double figures with 18 on 7-10 shooting from the field while Grayson Tejeda had 12 points and 5 steals. Williams had 13 and fellow sophomore Markel Ming chipped in 10 to help the Mustangs bench out score the opponents bench 47-3.
