"The team came out focused and on a mission for today's game against The Crown College which is an USCAA opponent. We were able to set the tone and control the tempo of the game from the onset. Each player knew what was to be expected and followed the game plan to precision. This was a bounce back game for us after the loss to NC Central, an NCAA  Division 1 Program out of the MEAC, stated Head Coach
Charles Sims. Sims continued, saying "We still have work to do to improve in certain areas of the game to really reach our full potential and until we achieve that we will not be satisfied with just today's victory."Â
