WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- On Saturday November 4th, the Men's Basketball Team traveled to Winston-Salem to play against Carolina University. This was the first game of the season for the men's team. The Mustangs had a 13 point lead with 6 minutes left in the game. Yet, Carolina pulled together and overpowered the Mustangs in the closing minutes.
Freshman
Joshua Tyler led the team in scoring with a total of 38 points and 8 rebounds. He was closely followed in points by Senior and Captain
Talik Totten who scored 33 points. Sophomore
Noah Richardson-Keys led the team in rebounds with 9 total rebounds throughout the game.
The team plays next on November 8th on their home court. They will play against Central International College at 7 pm. Go Mustangs!
