Box Score ELIZABETH CITY, NC -- On Wednesday November 8th, the Men's Basketball Team played their first home game against Central International College. Wanting to start the season strong, the team was determined to pull off a win on their home court. The Mustangs kept their determination throughout the game and won 101 to 77.
Leading his team in scoring was Junior
Carlos Raven with a total of 21 points and 3 steals. Sophomore
Seth Adams followed closely behind in points with 15 points while Sophomore
Noah Richardson-Keys kept the team afloat with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Head Coach
Charles Sims commented on the game saying, "I am proud of the team. They wanted to make this game a statement game and they achieved that. Of course there are areas that we still need to improve on, but we will focus on each game as it comes along. Overall, they came together as a group and achieved their first victory."
