Mustangs Victorious Over SC4, 83-60
ELIZABETH CITY, NC --  The MACU men's basketball team won an NSAC matchup against the South Carolina Central Christian College Gladiators, 83-60.  The Mustangs were able to work a 12 point lead by halftime.  They came out with the same momentum and pushed a 20 point lead quickly and never looked back.

Janus Shepherd and Elijah Dias led MACU scorers with 12 each.  Stewart Clough led the boards with nine and Keondre Rodgers added in five.

Coach Sims remarked, "Going into today game after two days of practice we really focused on improving our defense and just getting better overall. Shooting 75% from the free throw line after shooting 55% over the last two game was a big improvement today. The pace of which we played today was very favorable for us as we were able to dictate the tempo consistently to style of basketball we play. There's still a lot work ahead for the team and we will continue to improve in our areas where we need improvement."

MACU plays next on Thursday, November 6th at Hampton University.
