MACU Close at WiPU, 80-78
RALEIGH, NC -- The MACU men's basketball team were defeated in a close one at William Peace University, 80-78.

Coach Sims commented, "This game had one common denominator and that was free throws and our inability to capitalize on them. The first half of the game we could not of asked for anything better. We were making good decisions on both ends of the floor, shot 50% from the field while holding William Peace to just 40% shooting. WPU just worked their way back into this game. Having had the lead for 30 minutes and losing by 2 came down to us not making our free throws . William Peace was 18-21 at and we were 13-25. We cannot expect to win games shooting 52% from the free throw line we have to get better."

The Mustangs will play next at home versus Cheyney (PA) on December 3rd.
