Coach King has over 30 years of soccer experience in travel select club and high school soccer. From 2000-2020 he was a U9-U19 club coach in northern Virginia. When he relocated to North Carolina, he began serving as the Director of Coaching for the local travel select club, Carolina United Soccer Association (CUSA) for U18 girls from 2021-2025. He also served as Head Women's Varsity Soccer Coach at Perquimans County High School for the 2024 season. He is currently the soccer trainer for Lawrence Academy in Merry Hill, NC.
He is proud to say that he has coached over 25 players that are currently or have previously played at the D1 level. He even coached Emily Fox (the starting right back for the US National Team who also played in the recent World Cup and the Olympics) when she played in youth club soccer.
He played college soccer at Lynchburg College. He currently resides in Merry Hill, NC with his wife, Gayle, and has three grown children.
