Box Score Solid shooting throughout the game, backed by key stops and a season high in assists(21) would lead the Lady Mustangs to a season sweep over Central Penn College and for the first time in the brief history of the program, a win in the season finale. Down by seven points early the Mustangs would chip away at the lead to take a four point half time lead that they would never relinquish enroute to the solid home win. With the great passing the Mustangs would finish with season highs in field goal percentage at 41.4% and three point percentage at 48%, enabling the team to finish with another high for the season with 79 points.
Senior Lacresha Young led the Lady Mustangs with 20 points while junior Cham Brice led a trio of players with double doubles registering 10 assists (career and program highs) to go along with 13 points. Fellow junior Brittany Harrison chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds while freshmen Whitney Rowe tallied her thrid double double of the year with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The win gave the Mustangs momentum heading into the off-season having won two out of the final three (the other an OT loss) and secured a third place finish in the Chesson Classic.
Lacresha Young and Cham Brice were named to the Chesson Classic All-Tournament Team along with Nicole Schmidhamer of Central Penn, Mary Barbale of Christendom College and Apprentice guards Kenya Wilkerson and Courtney White (tournament MVP).
