Down by as many as ten points a furious rally fueled by defense and timely three point shooting lead by senior Lacresha Young would see the Mustangs force the programs first overtime game.  Finally down two with just 12 seconds left in the game, senior Benita Boyd drove the right side to make a contested layup and set up the extra period.  A back and forth overtime would ultimately see Christendom College walk away with a hard fought six point win.  

Young led the four Mustangs in double figures with 15 connecting on 5 triples in the game, followed by Boyd's 11, Jamie Brown with 10 and Brittany Harrison with 10 points and 6 rebounds.  

The Lady Mustangs take on Central Penn College in the third place game of the Chesson Classic on Saturday February 21 at 9 am.
