Men's Soccer Falls at Home

Playing host to the Sentinels of Patrick Henry College the MACU Mustangs Soccer team fell by a final score of 5-2.  

After falling behind early on back to back goals from the Sentinels Colin Turner the Mustangs would find the back of the net twice on goals from Noah Bryant to tie the score.  With just seconds on the clock before halftime, Patrick Henry would score a third goal by Benjamin Purnell to take the lead.  Patrick Henry would get two early goals by Blake Toman in the second half to finish out the scoring for both teams.

In a program first for the Mustangs, freshman Noah Bryant notched a multi goal game on 6 shots.  Fellow freshman Cody Wallingford registered 15 saves while Sophomore Marco Cantero had his first assist of the season.

The Mustangs return to the field October 3rd to take on Johnson University of Florida on the campus of Warren Wilson College.
