ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. -- Following a stretch that saw the Mid-Atlantic Christian baseball team drop six of their last seven, the Mustangs rebounded in a big way by winning three of four contests against Ohio Christian on Thursday and Friday at Pasquotank County High School.
The series was forced to move to Pasquotank County High School from Holmes Field at Knobbs Creek Park due to wind damage that occurred earlier in the week.

In the first inning, MACU got their offense started when
Alex Miller singled on a 2-2 count, scoring the first run of the game. MACU pulled away for good with two runs in the third as Miller continued his strong outing with another RBI single and
Giovanny Mendez knocked in a runner.
MACU stretched the lead again in the bottom of the fifth as
Travis Snell scored off of a
Anthony Torres line out to right field and
Elijah Ollman registered a RBI single to right field, scoring
Jalyn Lee.
Travis Snell,
Alex Miller, and
Elijah Ollman all registered two hits a piece to lead the Mustang offensive effort.
Caleb Whitley registered the win for the Mustangs. Whitley pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and two runs, while striking out four and walking one.

Jalyn Lee would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base, driving in four on two hits to lead the MACU efforts. Lee drove in runs on a home run in the first and a double in the fifth.Â
The Mustangs pounded out 13 hits on the contests, including two from each
Anthony Torres and
Caleb Whitley. MACU scored multiple runs in all six innings they faced Ohio Christian pitching.
Colin Langley earned the victory for the Mustangs as he allowed no runs off of just three hits in relief. The freshman struck out seven and walked two over three innings of work.

MACUÂ battled back to win game three in the bottom of the sixth as
Giovanny Mendez sent an RBI double to center field to tie the game at three.
Elijah Ollman then singled to right field, bringing in the game winning run.Â
Ollman led the offensive attack by going 2-of-3 for the contest including a double.Â
Dalon Arrington got the win for MACU as he allowed no runs off of two hits over two innings of relief work.
Cole Langley recorded the save for the Mustangs.

In the final game of the series, MACU struggled against the Ohio Christian pitching staff, registering just three hits.
Elijah Ollman,

Riane Franklin all registered a hit a piece for the Mustangs.
Dakota Jacobsen was saddled with the loss as the lefty gave up two runs off of seven hits over four innings of work.
