MACU Takes 2 out of 3 games Vs. Atlantis University. After losing game 1 by the score of 12-2, MACU turns around and wins game 2 and 3.
With their backs against the wall in Game 2,
Colin Langley throws a complete game 3-hitter to win a "must win" game for the Mustangs. "He has been lights out for the last month or so for us," said Louis. Colin struck out 6 Atlanteans and only walked 2. He completed the game only throwing 98 pitches.
MACU took the lead in the 5th when
Titus Bleckley took off on a steal and
Nick Boyle hit a ball to left that the Left Fielder misplayed allowing Bleckley to come around and score. MACU added another run in the 6th when
Tanner Skidmore pinch hit infield single scored
Caleb Whitley from 3rd to make it 2-0.
After the series was completed, Coach Louis stated, "It was nice to see meaningful baseball being played here at the MAC."
Coach Louis is referring to Atlantis University being ranked #5 nationally while MACU is ranked #10 nationally in the USCAA.
MACU gets back to .500 with a record of 21-21.
MACU will be back in action on 4/25 for their last home game this season. They will welcome The Apprentice School, Game starts at 3pm.
