Box Score Mustangs Score First Win in 3 Years, 5-0
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The MACU soccer grabbed the first win in three years for the program and also the first under Coach Rodriguez.  The Mustangs struck early with a goal by Isaac Miller in the 10th minute assisted by Alex Peralta.  MACU would take a 2-0 into halftime then would add three more goals in the second half.

Isaac Miller scored two goals.  Daniel Rose, Dedrick Blow, and Jacob Nixon each added in one goal.  Alex Peralta had one assist.  Mattox Bryant had 5 saves as goalkeeper.

Coach Rodriguez commented. "It was a great team effort.  We are starting to build chemistry between our returners and newcomers.  Everybody is starting to understand their roles on the team.".

The Mustangs play next against North Carolina Wesleyan College's JV team on Wednesday, September 10th at 4pm.
