Mustangs Get First Win at Home, 3-2
ELIZABETH CITY, NC -- The MACU men's soccer team got their first win at home versus The Crown College (TN), 3-2. The Mustangs were trailing 2-0 half way thru the first half and were unable to narrow the lead by halftime. They then countered with three goals in the 2nd half. The go-ahead goal was a header by

Alex Fernandez.
Daniel Rose scored unasissted (5th).Â
Dedrick Blow scored on a penalty kick (5th).Â
Jacob Nixon scored with a header (2nd) off an Alex Ferandez corner (3rd).
Coach Rodriquez remarked, "We had a great effort in the second half. The guys really stepped up and had one of the greatest comebacks in our program."
The Mustangs play next at home on Sunday, October 5th vs Washington Adventist.
