Box Score 2 Baseball Starts Off Season
COLUMBIA, SC -- The MACU baseball team started off the season in a three-game series at Bob Jones University. The Mustangs had a mixture of games from average to pitching duel to to late-game shootout.
Colin Langley pitched a gem in Game 2. He pitched a complete game, 7-inning shutout with 11 strikeouts. Colin Sanchez led at the plate going 5-8 with two extra base hits and had the game-winning RBI in Game 2.
Coach Krehel commennted, "It was a good way to start the season against a tough NCCAA opponent. In a couple games we battled hard but fell short. It was great to see Colin start out in midseason form. There is a lot of promise for the season."
