Playing in front of the home crowd for the first time in the 2022-23 season the Lady Mustangs came out strong defensively and posted a lopsided win over the Tigers from Trinity Washington.
After a tight first quarter in which the Lady Mustangs held the Tigers to just 6 points, MACU opened things up in the second quarter outscoring TWU by 15 to take a 19 point lead into the locker room at half time. Â The Lady Mustangs never let up in route to the 27 point victory.

Judea Edmonds led the team with her first double double of the season finishing with 11 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks. Â Three other players joined Edmonds in double figures with

Kayla Kent at 13 and
Regina Woodley adding 12. Â As a team the Mustangs registered 13 blocked shots and a season low 5 turnovers. Â
