DuBois, PA -- MACU baseball falls to Salem in the first game of the Small College World Series, 10-6. The Mustangs took an early lead in the game but were unable to hold on. They managed a late rally coming down the stretch to whittle down the final lead.
Travis Snell,
Titus Bleckley, and
Darris Boswell all had two hits on the day.
Coach Krehel commented, "It is a tight field this year. Fortunately, we have another chance to win some games. We are going to keep fighting with everything we've got." A USCAA staffer commented about the team, "You have the nicest guys here.... they are just a breath of fresh air."
